Meet Atom! Atom and his brothers were found trapped in a fence on a farm in Korea. He and his brothers were rescued as puppies and have been socialized around people ever since. Atom arrived to the San Francisco Bay Area on 15 Oct 2022 and has adjusted very well with his foster family.
Atom is a 8 month old Jindo mix with so much love and play to give! Atom loves squeaky toys, playing fetch, balls, and going on walks. He is leash-trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands such as sit and shake. Atom’s foster parents are working on voice recall and down. He is very smart and treat-motivated and can learn more commands quickly!Atom is a little shy around new people and it takes him a few days to open up to his new family. Once he opens up to his new family, he loves to lick you to say hello! Atom loves to protect his family and house so he may alert his owners with a soft bark when new people come over to visit. Atom stops barking when owners greet the visitors and show Atom the visitors are friends.Atom is great around other dogs and loves to play with dogs both big and small! He does like to chase squirrels and birds so he would probably be best in a home without cats.We are looking for a home who understands the responsibility of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family.
