Meet Ariel! She is a playful, loving and goofy 9 month old Jindo mix. She is quite shy with new people, especially kids and high energy dogs. Once she opens up, she is very affectionate (loves to give many kisses!) and goofy. She loves being outdoors hiking and running around so will do well in a relatively active family.

At home, she enjoys playing with her 15 lb foster brother, fetching and chewing her toys, or nap by her foster parents. She bonds strongly with her human and may want them all to herself when the resident dog comes around but will learn to share with gentle corrections. Her ideal home will be with another friendly, playful similar sized dog (or a gentle big dog who is savy with smaller dogs) who can show her the ropes as she builds her confidence and has a fun playmate she can wrestle with.

Her new family should continue with her obedience training, work on her separation anxiety and get her plenty of socialization with new dogs and people. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Ariel is patiently waiting!
