Meet Ailee! Ailee is an adorable, snuggly Formosan Mountain Dog mix. She was found as a young puppy, starving in a field with her two sisters. She was rescued and brought to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she is now with her foster mom. Ailee is a kissy, snuggly, happy puppy, who wants to play and explore. She will greet you with dances of joy when you come home! She is such a snuggler, that she loves to sleep under the covers, curled up next to you at night!
She is house trained, crate trained, uses a doggie door, walks on leash, knows basic obedience, respects boundaries, and gets along great with other dogs. She is active, can be trusted off leash, and will keep up with you if you enjoy doing long hikes or walks. She is 27 lbs, and is at her full adult weight. Ailee is a medium dog in a small-dog body – she is only a little bigger than a Fox Terrier, but has the attitude of a dog twice her size.
Having been born on the streets, Ailee takes a little while to warm up around strangers, but within 1 – 2 days she will be your little
snuggle-bug. She will get anxiety when left alone, but is fine when she has a companion, so she needs to be adopted into a house with another dog, and probably needs a yard to play in. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Ailee is patiently waiting.
