Meet Winter! Winter is a sweet, healthy girl who truly deserves to be loved. Winter was found in a drainage ditch, wagging her tail happily when she saw the person who discovered her. Despite her gentle spirit, she was taken to a high-kill shelter. By chance, a rescuer learned about Winter and saved her on the very day she was scheduled for euthanasia. When the rescuer came to get her, Winter greeted them with endless kisses—her way of saying thank you. Winter has a great appetite and is very food-motivated, which makes training easy and enjoyable. She eats her meals well, even when medicine is mixed into her food (she recently took medication after being spayed).

Winter opens her heart to people quickly. She has adjusted beautifully to her foster home and loves starting her mornings by greeting her foster parents with kisses. She enjoys following them around and being close. With strangers, she happily takes treats and soon feels comfortable enough to be gently petted. Winter’s foster family runs a dog-friendly café in Korea, and she goes with them regularly. Because of this, Winter meets many new people every day and is learning to feel confident and relaxed around strangers. Winter loves her furry friends and is always excited to play with other dogs. She is also great on car rides and would love to go on adventures with her forever family.

As Winter is still a puppy, we are looking for a home that understands she will need time, patience, and love to continue growing and settling in. Winter is waiting patiently for the family who will give her the life she deserves.
