Meet Winston! Winston was rescued from the shelter when he found his way onto the euthanasia list. Thankfully foster space opened up and he was able to make it out of the shelter in time! Winston came into the shelter as a surrender due to injury caused by foxtails. Surgery was done to remove them and he is not fully recovered. Winston is a sweet and loving boy but he will need a savvy and patient home willing to continue training. Winston can have stranger danger reactions but nothing a little treat can’t resolve! Aside from socialization, he also has some separation anxiety so will benefit from a home that will not leave him alone for extended period of time. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Winston is patiently waiting!
