Meet Suki! Suki was a stray in Korea, while pregnant she got her paw stuck in a trap, which resulted in her paw being permanently contracted. Suki walks well on the bad leg still, but when outdoors, she needs to wear a brace that protects the skin from getting cuts. Does good during car rides and walks well on a leash. She does not like being confined but is good being left without fear of destroying things. She can be on the shy side at first when new strangers around. Overall she is what we call a “cat dog” as she is independent and likes to do her own thing. She’s does well at the dog park, so she may be ok with other dogs, you just need to be sure they aren’t invading her space and that they will respect her boundaries. Pushy dogs make her nervous. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning a dog and someone who will give her the calm and safe place she needs. Suki is patiently waiting!
