Meet Soy! Soy was rescued from a rooftop hoarding case in Daejeon, where 24 dogs were abandoned during the freezing winter with no protection from the elements. Among them were newborn puppies, neglected dogs, and pregnant mothers.

All dogs were safely rescued and brought indoors, where they could finally rest, recover, and begin a new chapter of life. Soy is a gentle, affectionate young dog who may seem shy at first, but warms up once he feels safe. With a little patience, he becomes a charming cuddle-lover who enjoys soft petting and treats. He is becoming more and more comfortable being handled by people who he is familiar with, and he thrives in calm, reassuring environments.

Soy loves the company of other dogs and learns quickly by watching them (given he comes from the hoarding situation where he has relied on other furry friends to survive), so a friendly, well-socialized resident dog would be a wonderful influence. His ideal family is one that moves at his pace, offering patience and consistency rather than rushing interactions. With that kind of support, Soy will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Soy is patiently waiting!
