Hi, I’m Miso! I’m looking for something very special: my very own person. I was rescued from a horrible puppy mill in Korea, and these days I’m discovering just how wonderful life can be. I have a beautiful, soft brown coat, and I absolutely love being close to my human. I’m a very snuggly little girl, and I’d really like to be someone’s #1.
I’m happiest when I don’t have to share my person with another dog. I prefer being the only dog in the home and can compete for attention and sometimes mark territory when another dog is around. So, if you’re looking for one special little companion to shower with love, I might be your girl! I’m a great little traveler, too. Put me in my car seat and I settle right in. When it’s time to relax at home, I’ll even voluntarily go into my crate and sleep there. And you don’t have to worry about me panicking when you leave—I’m happy to relax until you come back.
I’m also surprisingly easy when it comes to my spa treatments. Brush my teeth? No problem. Trim my nails? No problem. Sanitary trim? I’ll cooperate without all the squirming. I’m learning that being handled can be a pretty nice experience! I walk beautifully on leash and enjoy going out with my person. I’m not much of a barker, either—at least not from what my foster family has seen. I’m still working on my house manners, so I’m considered in training.
Because I’m a tiny girl, I’d do best with children 12 and older who understand that little dogs need gentle handling. My foster family hasn’t had enough information to know how I would do with cats. What I really want is simple: a person who will make me their little shadow, their cuddle buddy, their travel companion, and their one-and-only dog. I have so much love to give, and I’m ready to spend the rest of my life making my person feel very, very special.
