Meet Mishty! Mishty was rescued from a horrible puppy mill along with many others. Thankfully rescuers were able to get them out and to the vet for a full check up. Mishty has since gotten a clean bill of health and ready to find her forever home!

Mishty is an extremely gentle and shy little girl who prefers calm environments and quiet companionship. She tends to wait patiently rather than approach first, but once she feels safe, she enjoys being brushed and gently petted and even asks for morning cuddles. She bonds well with women and may need a bit more time to feel comfortable around men. With strangers, she observes quietly at first before warming up.

Mishty walks politely on leash, follows her handler well, and prefers short, frequent walks over long outings. She loves having her own cozy space (especially under the sofa), enjoys nose work, and has a special fondness for vegetables like cabbage and carrots. She is more home-loving than most dogs and lives carefully, paying close attention to human cues.

Mishty has mild separation anxiety but shows no destructive behavior. She is overall healthy, with good patella condition, though she has allergy sensitivities (shrimp and pork-based treats cause reactions), so low-allergen food and treats are recommended. Mishty would thrive in a calm, stable home with a patient guardian who will not leave her alone for extended periods and willing to give her time to adjust.

We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Mishty is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
