Meet Mirabel! Mirabel’s journey began at the shelter where she and many other animals faced the threat of euthanasia due to health issues, size, or other reasons. Despite the shelter’s efforts, the overwhelming number of strays made it impossible to provide adequate care. Thankfully, many rescue organization and individual volunteers could rescue all 105 animals from the shelter. Among them was Mirabel, one of 17 dogs brought into our rescue partners care from this dire situation. Mirabel has since gotten a clean bill of health and ready for her forever home!

Mirabel is a delightful bundle of energy and curiosity. She approaches the world with wide-eyed wonder, always eager to explore and play. Whether she’s engaging with her toys or interacting with her family, Mirabel’s vibrant personality shines through. She’s also incredibly affectionate, thriving on the attention and companionship of her human family. Mirabel’s sweet nature and playful spirit make her a joy to be around. Mirabel is super friendly and gets along well with both people and other dogs. Her sociable nature means she’s comfortable in various social settings and enjoys being a part of the family. She’s particularly attentive and caring, making her an ideal companion for any household.

Mirabel is leash and crate trained, showing she’s well-adjusted to these aspects of her daily routine. She is also nearly perfect with her pee-pad training, using it with 80-90% accuracy. Mirabel is exceptionally energetic and playful! Still a puppy. Mirabel is currently being treated for fungal dermatitis. Thanks to ongoing treatment, she is nearing recovery. After adoption, it’s important to continue monitoring her skin and consider weekly medicated baths to prevent recurrence. If she lives with other dogs, keeping her in a separate area if skin issues arise will help prevent spreading.

Mirabel needs a loving home where she can receive plenty of attention and appropriate training. As a young pup, she will benefit from spending a lot of time with her new family. Given her sensitivity to environmental changes, a nurturing and attentive environment will help her feel secure and thrive. Whether as an only child or with other pets, Mirabel’s affectionate nature ensures she will fit in well with any loving family, but if there’s another energetic puppy around, it would be a paradise for her, fulfilling her social and physical needs. Mirabel is ready for her forever home!
