Mika
Meet Mika, small in size, big on possibilities. At just 20 pounds, she doesn’t take up much space, but she has the potential to fill your home with so much love and happiness! She is a joyful little girl who loves toys, treats, and other dogs. She is house-trained and can be trusted to be at home alone if you need to go to work or do errands.
This sweet girl can sometimes feel nervous or skittish when exploring unfamiliar places, especially on walks. The outside world can be a little overwhelming at times, so she would benefit from a patient, understanding adopter who can help her gain confidence. She has been with her foster mom for a few weeks now, and she is already seeing improvement on walks as Mika gets more and more comfortable with the neighborhood. Even though she lacks confidence at first, Mika does love to run around outside. Mika’s long legs make her fast, spry, and agile. Her foster mom takes her to a park at least once a week and lets her run around on a 30 ft long line. Mika loves the freedom!
Her rough start in life has not given her the opportunity to see much of the world yet, but she is very curious about it all! Whoever adopts this amazing girl is going to get to experience everything with her, and because she is so treat-motivated and smart, she will be fun to train. Her potential is unlimited!
