Hi! My name is Maya. I’m a 3 year old French Bulldog, otherwise known as a “Frenchie.” My coat is a beautiful silver-black with cream colored markings. If sweet, affectionate, and playful is what you are looking for in a new member of your family, I’m your gal!
My past isn’t pretty but it’s what made me what I am today. My mom and I were surrendered to Love and Second Chances for a chance at a better life. They saw that I received not only all the medical attention I needed, but a loving foster home with a warm bed and nutritious meals. I began to thrive, emerged as a beautiful princess, and am now ready for adoption.
I am housebroken, always waiting to go on my walk to do my business. I don’t bother my foster humans’ belongings, but focus instead on what I’m allowed to play with. I love, love, love to be with my humans. So much so, I get jealous if my humans give other dogs too much attention. For that reason, I would do best as an only dog. And, older kids in the household are preferred. I have typical Frenchie allergy issues, manifesting as skin irritation, so I’ll need to continue my allergy treatments. Bed time is easy for me; I settle right down in my pen and don’t bother my foster humans until it’s time to get up.
