Meet Koa! Koa is an 8 month old Jindo mix who is adorable as can be! He loves to be close to his people and is quite a funny character. While on walks he loves to chase flying leaves and grabs a stick to have in his mouth while walking. He is very playful and has a lot of energy, but also enjoys taking naps. He enjoys car rides, he is skittish with loud noises, wind and rain. He is a picky eater, doesn’t like fowl except turkey, won’t touch venison either. His current foster home have two teenagers and he’s been around their nephews (7 and 9 yrs old) and has done well with them!

Koa likes to use the bathroom on grass or green areas, his foster has been training him on-command. When they take him out to use the bathroom they’ll say “Bano” (Spanish for bathroom) and he’ll go.

Since he is still a puppy, it would be good if he can go to a home that will have the patience and time to train him and make him feel secure. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Koa is patiently waiting!
