Meet Judy (named after Judy Garland because she’s got strong vocal chords)! Judy is an adorable 4 years old Beagle. Judy is very cute, loving and cuddly. She gives affectionate kisses and will look at you lovingly. She likes to sit on her foster’s lap as she works. Judy likes to go under the covers in bed and sleep side by side with her foster mom.

Judy would do best in a home with a yard, so that she has the option to relieve herself and run around. Ideally, the home will have previous experience with a beagle. She often whines when she’s excited/anxious, especially as she’s getting ready for a walk or in the car. She also barks, bays and howls so her home will have to have great patience for the noise she makes. She seemed to be less vocal being the only dog in the house, so perhaps she’ll do best as an only dog with regular socialization and play dates with other pups.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Judy is patiently waiting!
