Meet Hanna! Hanna is a sweet and loving girl who loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Hanna was rescued after she was found on a highway after being hit by a car. Thankfully rescuers were able to get her After undergoing pelvic surgery, she has fully recovered and is now healthy and ready to find her forever home.

Despite her painful past, she remained warm-hearted, played well with other dogs, and could entertain herself. She is a mature dog who can stay calm alone without suffering from separation anxiety. Hanna’s potty training is nearly perfect—about 99%—and she walks politely beside her handler without pulling on the leash. When meeting other dogs, she approaches gently and respectfully, and if the other dog is uninterested, she quietly walks away. After outdoor activities or play, she likes to rest quietly in her kennel and enjoys being gently petted. She can be a little timid and startled by loud noises, but she is steadily improving through ongoing desensitization training.

Hanna is a truly lovely dog who will bring warmth and happiness to the family that welcomes her. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Hanna is patiently waiting!
