Meet Coco! Coco is an extremely adorable girl who was rescued from a farm where she lived on a short thick chain. Coco gave birth at less than a year old and sadly witness her puppies get run over on the road and unable to reach them. The owner of the farm made a metal box around her chain to lock her in when rescuers go and try to feed her. There was always no water or food whenever they went over and when winter came, the owner has planned on selling her to a dog farm. After a lot of convincing, the rescuer was able to get Coco off the chain and to the vet for a full check up.

Coco is a little scared of places where there are too many people but with patience and ongoing socialization she is making progress and opening up more and more! When Coco meets new people, she needs few hours to feel comfortable. Coco loves dogs, but due to her time spent isolated she needs slow intro. She loves to be around her people and loves to go on walks. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Coco is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
