Meet Cloud! Cloud’s story began with a rough start. He was abandoned in front of our shelter alongside his mama and sister, Moon, left behind in a cardboard box. While his sister was found nearby, Cloud was the last to be discovered—rescued from a cold, damp ditch on a chilly day. Thankfully, our team acted quickly, getting him to safety. Now, Cloud is healthy, safe, and ready to find a loving forever home. We don’t know much about his past, but it’s clear he didn’t receive the care and affection every puppy deserves. Because of that, he can be a little cautious in unfamiliar situations and will open his jaw like an alligator to warn a person (but never bite or lunge). But behind that gentle hesitation is an incredibly affectionate and kind-hearted pup. Cloud loves being close to people and, like his sister, is learning each day to trust more, love more, and enjoy the kindness he now receives. He’s still a young pup and will need some guidance with things like house training, leash walking, and socialization. But with patience, love, and consistency, Baby Cloud is sure to blossom into a confident and loyal companion. Cloud is patiently waiting!
