Hi, my name is Buddy! I’m a 13-month-old Border Collie mix with a white coat and cool brown and black markings — I especially like the patch over my eye and the brown spots on my ears. Pretty handsome, right?
I was found by my foster human, who helped me get healthy and ready for adoption. I’ve been microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered, and even spent time with a trainer so I can learn to be the best version of myself.
I’m young and full of energy — I love the dog park, going on walks, and trying to catch a frisbee or ball (I’m getting better every time!). I’m learning my leash manners and house training, though I might need a little patience as I settle into my new home.
When it comes to other dogs, I do best with a slow introduction. New dogs can be a bit scary at first, but once I warm up, I usually do just fine. I’m still discovering so many new things in life, and every day feels like an adventure.
What I really love, though, is being close to my human. Snuggles, hugs, naps together on the couch — that’s my kind of happiness. I’m all about comfort and connection. I also love car rides, especially with the window down so I can feel the breeze and take in all the smells.
Toys? Oh yes — give me something crunchy-sounding and I’ll entertain myself for hours. I’d be happiest in a home with space to run, so I can burn off my energy before curling up for bedtime. A cozy couch, a few fun treats, and someone to share movie nights or backyard sunsets with — that’s my dream life.
I’ve had a rough start, but my foster human is helping me catch up on all the good stuff. I just need someone who’s patient, kind, and willing to help me grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be.
