Meet Bori ! Bori is a sweet and gentle girl who will get closer to you every single day and melt your heart. While trying to rescue a dog from the shelter, the rescuer discovered its mother dog was also there and decided to save them together before it was their turn for euthanasia. That’s how Bori was rescued.
Bori is a gentle, curious, and incredibly loyal girl who is looking for a patient forever family to help her continued confidence grow. She is a natural early riser who kicks off her day at 7:00 AM with her absolute favorite activity: a walk to sniff the neighborhood, chase squirrels, and take care of business (she poops every morning and stops to pee 3–5 times per walk).
While she is an independent soul who isn’t much of a cuddler, Bori loves being near her people and acts as the ultimate chore companion; even though she doesn’t like the vacuum pointed at her, she doesn’t bark at it and will instead bravely stay right behind you to “help” you finish up. She doesn’t really know how to play with toys, but she absolutely loves other dogs, thrives on car rides, and is a huge fan of going to the park to meet new fur friends.
Bori isn’t very food motivated unless you offer her favorite gourmet treats cheese, milk, and yogurt and because she can be a bit sensitive to unfamiliar loud noises, she winds down her day around 6:00 PM with a second walk before bedtime, where she loves listening to a gentle lullaby sung by her foster dad to make her feel completely safe. This quiet, loyal pup would thrive in a relatively calm household, ideally with another canine buddy to show her the ropes and share in her outdoor adventures.
No one knows where and how Bori lived before she was taken to the shelter. All we know is that Bori took well care of her daughter. Now it’s Bori’s turn to have her own family and loved forever. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Bori is patiently waiting!
