Meet Archie! Spunky, happy Archie is pure love, in the shape of a dog. He is the embodiment of non-stop happiness, constant affection, and sheer joy to be alive. If you want a dog who will (literally!) knock you over so that he can kiss and love you, who wants to be on your lap and inside of your skin, Archie is your boy! If you want an emotional support dog, who can be there for you 24/7 and make you smile no matter what, Archie is that dog. If you want a dog who will squirm with delight just at the sight of you – then you need to adopt Archie!
Archie is looking for an owner who understands that he is still a puppy, and very enthusiastic. He is smart, and wants to learn! In his foster home, he is learning about sitting and not jumping up, walking on a loose leash, waiting his turn – all of the things that puppies need to learn. He loves playing non-stop with other dogs, and in his foster home, he is doing well learning doggie manners and self-control.
Archie would thrive in an active family with adults, or kids old enough to handle an enthusiastic 40-lb puppy. He would love an energetic and good-natured doggie companion, as long as the humans can help Archie with his manners. He hasn’t been tested with cats, but he would likely chase a cat to play. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibility of owning and raising a puppy. Archie is patiently waiting for a home to call his own!
