Meet Valentino! Valentino is an adorable 3.5 year old Beagle/Jindo mix. He was brought to a shelter as a stray, however the shelter was so full that he was set to be euthanized. Luckily rescuers saw him and took him in before his date was up.

Valentino is a very sweet and loving dog and loves cuddling with his humans on the couch. Due to his past experiences, Valentino is often shy or nervous around loud noises, open outdoor spaces and large crowds. He loves chew toys and is generally a quiet dog. He does like biting on random items and is still learning what his toys are. He doesn’t like too much attention and new surroundings but warms up slowly over time.

The foster home is still working on his potty training but with a regular schedule it would be easier for him to pick up. He gets along with other dogs! He is still leash training and resists walking in new surroundings. He doesn’t mind baths and he absolutely loves peanut butter! Valentino is good in the kennel, but does get a bit sad when he has to stay in his kennel for too long.

We are looking for a dog experienced home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Valentino is patiently waiting!
