Meet Tanner! Tanner is an adorable 7 months old Jindo mix. Tanner is a sparky little boy who loves meeting and greeting people around town. He will bound up to people and jump at them like he’s on springs! He is friendly, cuddly and confident, particularly when out and about. But he does need a savvy handler who will continue to socialize him and train him. Tanner is sensitive with correction, so needs a home who is able to work with him.
Tanner absolutely loves food! Because of a bad past, he does have some resource guarding around food, so will need to be fed separate. He’s not interested in cats and will have a bit of a play with his foster home’s dog, but hasn’t been that interested in her. He prefers to be by his foster mom and follows her from room to room. He’s not had any accidents and has slept both in his crate and on their bed. Tanner has a genetic condition which requires him to get his anal glands expressed once a week!
Tanner is a character who you can imagine running down the road with a string of sausages in his mouth. You will fall in love with Tanner and his charms. We are looking for a dog savvy home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Tanner is patiently waiting!
