Meet Sol! Sol is an adorable 5 month old Jindo mix! Sol is approximately 12 pounds and will most likely stay on the small side. Sol is very sweet, affectionate, and playful! He loves to play fetch and gets along great with his foster sibling, a 1.5 year old male Jindo mix who is quite a bit bigger! He loves to play, but is also very calm much of the time. Sol likes to be around people, and he will whimper a bit when left alone for periods of time. Sol is an excellent eater! He loves being outside and is not timid or startled around his foster family.

Sol is still working on potty training and basic commands. He will go potty outside, as long as he’s taken out frequently, but sometimes is as likely to use the pavers as the grass or flower bed areas. Sol loves belly rubs and shows affection by lots of licking! He sleeps in the crate at night in the room of the foster family’s teenage daughter. He does whine occasionally, but is fine as long as he can see her.

Sol is still working on walking well on leash. He doesn’t pull, but stops frequently and sometimes just sits. He is very aware of cars and other people and gets a bit scared around loud noises like lawn mowers. Sol is great with kids and other dogs! He hasn’t had any experience with cats. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Sol is patiently waiting!
