Meet Major! Major is an adorable 3-year-old 25lbs. beagle with a heart full of love for everyone he meets! Major can be shy at first, but once he opens up he’ll roll on his back and let you rub his belly. He’s very gentle and loving with little bouts of energy when he wants to play with his plushie

Major is a cuddle-bug and would love to snuggle in the blanket with you all day. He loves soft treats and getting little licks of peanut butter off a spoon. Major likes to play with soft toys/plushies but is not a fan of hard toys. He’s energetic around meal-time, but most of the day he’s happy looking out the window, snuggled up in his blankets.

He loves long walks where he chases the occasional pigeon and stops to meet everyone who passes by. Major is great with new people, and dogs. He likes to keep his nose down sniffing for the majority of the walk and would need a brisk walker. Sometimes he pulls when he wants to get to an area, but if you correct him he will stop. He walks 3 times a day for at least 1 mile per walk.

Major loves his sweaters, especially when it’s straight out of the dryer on cold winter days. He’s the most gentle and quiet dog you’ll ever meet, great for all types of homes. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog as a member of their family. Major is patiently waiting!
