Meet Franky! Franky is a sweet and adorable 6 years old Poodle. He’s quiet, calm and relatively low energy. He’s never barked since arriving at his foster home. Franky is happy with just a few short walks a day. He is perfectly happy laying by your side – he just wants to be near his person. He walks well on a leash and has no issues with stairs. He doesn’t seem to be particularly food motivated. Franky still needs work on potty training and crate training. He has had a few potty accidents in the home. He does not particularly like being in his crate. He will need basic obedience training, but we believe with consistency he’s able to pick things up. Frank does have some separation anxiety, so he would benefit from having someone who is home a lot. He would do well in a family with older kids that would treat him gently as loud, sudden movements scare him. He would do fine as the only dog or with another dog in the family. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Franky is patiently waiting!
