Meet Vicky! Vicky was rescued from an extremely horrific situation after footages from concerned people were sent in. The video shows Vicky getting beaten by a wooden bat by her previous owner repeatedly on almost a daily bases. Her situation was dire after constant beatings since ever since she was only a few weeks old. Vicky also faced a serious heart condition called PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus). Recently, she underwent a successful procedure, closing the abnormally-opened heart arteries. With her medical condition now managed, Vicky is ready for a fresh start and a loving home.

Vicky is a bright and energetic puppy with a playful and enthusiastic demeanor. She loves interacting with people, though she might need some time to feel comfortable with new faces and gentle touches at the very beginning. It’s unbelievable how she loves and enjoys people’s love and attention, even after going through a horrible physical abuse by her previous owner – she still wags at people, seeks attention and belly rubs! Her energy is boundless, making her a lively and affectionate companion. Vicky enjoys the company of other dogs and quickly makes friends, regardless of their size or energy level. Her affectionate nature and zest for life make her a delightful addition to any home.

Vicky is well-adjusted to walking on a leash. While she is comfortable with strangers during walks, she may be startled by approaching vehicles or loud noises. She is crate-trained and feels secure in her crate. Vicky prefers to relieve herself outdoors and is still learning to use a designated spot inside when necessary. Vicky is highly energetic and still going through her puppy stage! She enjoys playing and will benefit from multiple walks each day to help her expend energy and stay happy. She has no issues with car rides and adjusts well to grooming, though she may initially be nervous. She’s receptive to gentle and calm handling during grooming sessions.

Vicky would thrive in a home with a loving family that can match her high energy and enthusiasm. She would do well with other dogs to play with and learn from. Regular outdoor activity and positive reinforcement will help her feel secure and continue to grow into a well-adjusted companion. Vicky is ready to bring joy and affection into a new home. If you’re looking for a spirited and loving puppy to brighten your days, Vicky might just be the perfect match!
