Meet Whiskey! Whiskey was rescued from the streets of Paju, South Korea, in August 2021 when he was just three months old. Alongside his mom and sibling, he was taken to a high-kill shelter but was fortunate to be saved just before euthanasia. While his brother found a forever home, Whiskey has been living at our facility with other dogs since his rescue, without the opportunity to experience life in a foster home. Now, he’s more than ready to find a place to call his own! Whiskey is an incredibly affectionate and easy-going dog, displaying a gentle nature that sets him apart from the typical Jindo. He’s sweet and friendly, even towards new male adults, and has won the hearts of all our shelter volunteers. With moderate energy levels, Whiskey enjoys relaxing and chilling out most of the time. He is very gentle with other dogs at the shelter, though he doesn’t always engage in play. Whiskey knows how to switch between play mode and relaxation effortlessly and remains calm, even around barking dogs. He’s a well-balanced and loving companion just waiting for his forever home!
