Meet Appa! Appa spent the first 5 years of her life as a street dog before being rescued and has since been in the East Bay. She is a huge cuddle bug! Appa loves being with humans and snuggling up to them at home. She also loves to sunbathe in the backyard when the weather is nice!

Appa is afraid of dogs, but has made major leaps in her leash reactivity with positive reinforcement training. She knows many commands like heel, sit, down, touch, and yip-yip.

Appa would do well in a household with adults and no other animals. She loves being a couch potato and watching shows with her humans. She is a true lap dog! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Appa is patiently waiting!
