Looking for a furry whirlwind to turn your life into a hilarious adventure? Meet Loa, a 2-year-old Jindo mix with the joy of a child at Disneyland, and the trainability of a genius (when there are treats involved). This 50-pound goofball is your ultimate adventure buddy: Conquer walks, dominate the dog park (she’s great at engaging play), and chase balls until the sun sets. If you’ve been yearning to have a welcoming party explode with joy when you walk through the door, Loa is right for you!

Loa loves car rides, long hikes, and watching the world go by. This playful, curious, energetic girl would thrive with an active owner, and would love to be a jogging or hiking companion! She gets along great with new dogs, and plays well at the dog park, but would do well as an only-dog. (She can get a little possessive of her people.) She has done well with her foster mom’s cat, but might chase a cat that runs. She is house trained, and has great indoor and outdoor manners. Although she can be a ball of energy, her great indoor manners also make her the perfect office dog–with a good game of fetch, hike, or jog, she is quiet, and will contentedly curl up at your feet while you are working away.

Loa is initially a bit shy around humans, but patience will yield a loyal, loving, and adoring best friend. You know you’ve reached her inner circle when she shares her treats, and gently gifts you a ball to start your day.

Ready to escape the ordinary and dive into a world of endless entertainment?  Loa’s packing her stuffies and is waiting for her furever home.
