Meet Mac! Mac is an adorable 2.5 year old Golden Retriever. She came from South Korea and landed in SFO on September 30 of this year. She was rescued from the euthanasia list at a shelter in South Korea after being found in a parking lot. She was very thin with visible ribs, and is now well on her way to being a healthy and happy dog!

Mac is the sweetest dog who will follow you around the house once she warms up to you and decides you’re her “person.” She’s got tons of energy and wants to play. That means tug of war, wrestling other dogs, and lots of time outside. Though small for a Golden, she’s incredibly strong and difficult to walk on leash, which is why a big backyard with room to run around will be ideal for her (she loves squirrels and birds). Everything is new to her and she adapts well. Inside, she loves to curl up on the couch or bed and is a quiet sleeper.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Mac is patiently waiting!
