Meet Kamie! Kamie is a sweet and playful 5-6 months old spaniel mix with a typical puppy energ! She loves to explore and play with her ball.

Kamie is house and crate trained. When inside the house she prefers to be close to her crate and play with chew toys. She also sleeps well in her crate but prefers to be on a bed. She does well on leash and prefers running over walking. She pulls only when she sees another dog or animals at the park.

Her favorite toy is her ball and she can tirelessly play fetch with it. Although small, Kamie runs a mile daily. Kamie is not very food motivated unless hungry but will listen if shown her ball or leash.
She is shy of strangers and takes time to warm up. Not a super cuddly dog yet. She doesn’t like to be pulled, followed or picked up, probably due to past experience and therefore does not do well with toddlers.

She is a little scared of car rides but is okay if kept busy with treats or sitting in the lap while riding.
Her ideal family will be someone with a moderately active lifestyle that allows daily physical exercise. She will do best with another dog sibling her size and energy. As she is still a puppy and needs more training and discipline. She also is good with cats!

We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Kamie is patiently waiting for her forever family.
