Do you need a sweet new addition to your family?  Then look no further than this beautiful cream/ivory girl. Saesol has been through a lot and still looks for the best in people. She was abandoned by her people and found in a house sick and covered in ticks. She tested heartworm positive, but has made a full recovery and is healthy. She is a survivor and has such a gentle soul. Because of what she has been through it will take about a week before her new family sees her bubbly, adorable personality, but it’s there!  At first, she will just watch and observe. She loves affection she just needs a little time to figure out how to ask her people for it. Her foster mom says it took about 4 days to get a tail wag, but after that, she started to make great progress on coming out of her shell.  She now bounces/dances around when her foster mom comes home and goes to her for affection.

Saesol is good with dogs but gives them space.  Due to her size, she can be a little intimidated by active dogs that are bigger than her, and she does not like energetic puppies.  She will try to run and hide if there is a lot of commotion and constant barking from other dogs. Her foster mom thinks the best fit would be as a second dog in a home with another adult dog her size.  She would do fine as an only dog as well, as long as her new family socializes her with other dogs to build her confidence.  Saesol would not be good in a family with small/young children, but older children would be fine.

Saesol loves to go for walks and her quick trot makes her a great walking buddy. Her foster mom says that is when Saesol is happiest and most confident. True to the terrier personality she has a little bit of a hunting instinct and likes to chase squirrels.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member od their family. Saesol is patiently waiting!
