Meet River! River is an adorable 3 year old Sapsali mix. His foster in Korea found him chained up and severely emaciated, he is still trying to pack on weight. River loves being with people, he’s a huge cuddler and always wants pets. He loves going on walks and playing with other dogs. He is currently on a 4 walk per day schedule. River is a smart dog and adapted quickly to his foster home’s routine.
He would enjoy a backyard and a semi active family. He’s happy to hang out next to his fosters while they work from home and is still learning how to play with toys. He does shed quite a lot so whoever adopts him should be prepared to groom him regularly to help prevent matts. He gets pretty excited when he go on walks and he does cute hops to show his excitement. He knows sit and down. River likes to squish himself in between his fosters on the couch and be the center of attention .
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. River is patiently waiting!
