Meet Jimmy (aka Jeol Mi)! Jimmy is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix. In February 2021, someone found an illegal dog meat farm in Jeungpyeong County, South Korea. The first person who found the dog meat farm informed people and social media about the horrible place. The dog meat farm was filthy and the dogs didn’t even get fed. It became a huge issue on social media and eventually 81 dogs were rescued. Jimmy was one of the rescue dogs and was diagnosed with heartworms, he has been fully treated. He has been living in an outdoor facility ever since.
Jimmy has been very gentle and docile from day one and opened his heart with people. He is one of the most affectionate dogs so he was naturally loved by people around him. He’s potty trained/ crate trained, and ready to find his forever home that will love and care for him forever.Jimmy loves people, other dogs, and even cats. He loves to give kisses even to strangers so his potential family does not need to worry about socialization. His physical energy level is medium except for his ears – his ears move up and down based on what you are asking for – We think this is how he tells us he is listening. 🙂 He is fully vaccinated and neutered. He’s not shy and doesn’t avoid eye contact with people. He’s such an easy-going pup and allows people to touch his ears, paws, belly, etc. He is very food-driven so it will be easy to teach him any tricks as needed.
