Meet Atto! Atto is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix. Atto lived a rough life before getting rescued and can be timid meeting new people. Loud noises can also spook her indoors and out on walks. Because she was under socialized since puppyhood, she will need slow intro when meeting new dogs. She is ok with other dogs but it just takes her some time to open up. She is a sweet girl and will need a patient home to show her the world is not a scary place.

Atto walks great on leash! She is a curious girl and loves to sniff everything! She does get spooked when there’s a loud cars and trucks driving by. She is housebroken and does not bark much indoors. The only times Atto has barked is when a dog approaches her suddenly and she feels overwhelmed.

She loves treats, longer chew sticks and will take food gently. Only food Atto doesn’t enjoy is peanut butter! She has not shown much interests in toys yet, but we feel like once she is comfortable and fully opened up she will learn to play. She is not a lap dog but does show excitement when her fosters come home. She has minor separation anxiety and will pace when left alone. She is not destructive whatsoever, just paces and looks out the window. Atto currently sleeps in bed with her foster home.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Atto is patiently waiting!
