Meet Luca (aka Mr Puppy Eyesl)! As a little pupper, Luca was rescued from a high-kill shelter. This very sweet boy didn’t know love and kindness till recently. Luca is a little shy when meeting new people, but slowly warms up with a gentle approach.
Luca is a very sweet, playful and affectionate dog! Looking out the window, cuddling up on the couch with his foster mom while she works and playing with his foster sister are some of his favorite things to do. It’s a sight of utter cuteness when he flops his ears back with big doe eyes asking for treats and pets. Luca is still a puppy and occasionally tries to chew on things, but he picks up on corrections very quickly. Luca loves following his people around and greets them by leaning on them with front paws and kisses!
While he’s grown to enjoy going for walks and exploring the world, he will need more training in being around a big group of people, and busy streets.
He would fit in well in a home with another dog of sweet and easy going temperament to help build his confidence. But he’d equally do great being the apple of his family’s eyes.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy with lots of love, patience and understanding. Luca is patiently waiting!
