Meet Millie (aka Mosunee)! Millie is an adorable 3 year old Jindo/Corgi/Retriever mix! This sweet girl was rescued when she was only 7 months old. Millie was rescued from a dog slaughterhouse in South Korea. Her rescuer would sneak food over the fence for her while she was there. At first she thought Millie was gaining weight by the food she sneaks her, but later realized Millie was pregnant! Her rescuer pleaded with the slaughterhouse owner and was able to rescue Millie, her mom and her siblings. On the day Millie and her family were picked up, she went into labor. Her rescuer put them all in her SUV and was rushing to the vet when Millie gave birth in the back of her SUV! 8 healthy puppies were born that day of Millie’s rescue.
Millie has since been living in a private shelter owned by her rescuer with her family and puppies. Her personality is very easy going and very quiet. She doesn’t like loud noises or other dogs that are very energetic. She is just a very mellow dog who likes to show her belly to any one who pets her. Millie has not shown any signs of aggression towards her food at all with people and other dogs. She is an all around amazing girl!We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog as a member of their family. The ideal home for her would be an easy going family where there is always someone home with her. Millie went through so much already and we want her to be spoiled from her on out. Millie is patiently waiting!
