Meet Emily! Emily is an adorable 3.5y old Pomeranian Spitz mix. Emily likes to go for a walk but as she has had hip surgery, so she can’t go for long walks or runs. She loves to explore and sniff every where she goes! She is not very familiar with her leash but she is learning fast. When her foster home takes her to the park, she likes playing with other dogs and chase them!
Emily was rescued from a shelter when her time ran out. When she arrived at her foster home she didn’t know what toys were. Since she loves other dogs, her foster home asked their friends to bring their dogs over so that she can see how other dog plays with toys. She’s now a little bit more interested in her toys but it will still take her some time before she plays with them.
Emily is potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps in her kennel and does really well overnight. She is definitely not a barker. She only barks when she hears weird noises outside.
We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Emily is patiently waiting!
