My name is Donna! I’m a 6 months old FMD mix. I weigh about 18 lbs. I’m not a shy dog, and will go up to people to say hi. I enjoy laying on the couch, chewing on my toys but I also love running around the dog park. I can take a little bit of time warming up to other dogs, depending on their personality. But I am tough, can run fast and protect myself.

I am currently crate training and working on being 100% house-broken. I’ve peed a few times in the house, but am working on going potty during walks and am making daily improvements. I run to the front door the moment my foster parents grab the collar, and am also getting better each and every day on my leash! I am treat and food driven, and respond especially well when my foster parents ask me to “sit” and “down”. They are currently teaching me how to “roll-over!”

Overall, I love being around humans and have a lot of playful energy to give to my forever family. I think I would do best in an active home with a spacious yard who can also take me on many walks and to the dog park to mingle with other pups! I am patiently waiting!
