Meet Bambi! Bambi is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix. Bambi is a sweet girl who is shy at first, but opens up quickly with time and attention. Bambi is great with other dogs and wants to play. She is the happiest and bounciest dog!
Bambi is house trained and has no resource guarding with food or toys. She loves attention and is definitely happiest with someone petting her all the time. She nudges her head under your hand to get more pets! Bambi does need some more leash training, she gets very excited when seeing other dogs and might pull or bark to try to get close to them. This can easily be resolved with training. She does bark when someone is at the front door, but is otherwise quiet. Bambi has no separation anxiety and is very calm indoors.
Due to her anxiety, her foster found that keeping a shirt on helps calm her. A thunder shirt is very helpful in making her feel secure and safe. When picking her up, support her hind legs. This also makes her feel more secure. Other than her nervousness she is a perfect dog who will make a great companion for a lucky home.
We are looking for a home who understands the patience needed to help Bambi gain confidence in herself. Bambi is patiently waiting!
