Bean

Meet Bean! Bean is an adorable 6 months old terrier mix! She and her sister, Jelly were both rescued as strays. Jelly and Bean are both very active, sweet, submissive, loving, and goofy puppies. They wake up and are fed around 8am, then lunch at noon, and dinner around 6:30-7pm. In between feeding times, they are very active and love to run around, play with toys, except love from fosters on their terms, and play with their foster’s dogs. When they first got the their foster’s home on December 8th they were very held back and shy, but within a week they have really opened up, have been accepting and giving cuddles/kisses, get excited to see people, and have become very playful.
Jelly is a very excited, playful, submissive, and has become good at being independent or a companion. After warming up to her foster family, she has started to do happy pounces and jumps when she sees them for the first time after a little while. She warmed up the fastest between her and her sister. She is the follower when it comes to new things and play with her sister. She has become very outgoing with people and dogs after adjusting, but likes to be cuddled and loved when she feels comfortable doing so. When you see her, she almost always has a smile on her face and her ears up or bouncing around! She loves toys, having attention, carrying sticks, going on walks, and playing on the grass or dirt.
Bean is a very sweet, loving, gentle, playful, submissive, and has become good at being independent or a companion. Once Bean realized that people give the best tummy and neck rubs, she has enjoyed being pet and loved, but when she is comfortable to do so. She loves to run around, play with sticks and bones more than toys, go on walks, and get scratches. She is the more adventurous of the two when it comes to exploring and trying new things. She has loved her foster dog siblings from the first day, took longer to warm up to the people, but after warming up has started to really love being with and around them. She is the sweetest, most loving puppy. Bean can often be spotted being curious in the home or backyard, and with a little smile.
Both Jelly and Bean know how to sit, are good with young kids to adults, and once adjusted have made and will make great dog companions. They are both very smart when they put their minds to it and have been doing well at potty training, but still need some more guidance. Neither bite, nibble, like to be picked up, are destructive, or aggressive at all. They play very calm and are not very vocal. The perfect home for them would be an active family and preferably have another dog, as well as lots of treats (since they are food motivated), patients (since they will need some time to adjust and grow into their true happy puppy selves), and lots of love.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Bean is patiently waiting!
