Meet Candy (known as Darla by her foster family)! Candy is a puppy-like 3 year old Beagle mix from Korea. She is an attractive, trusting, and fun loving dog with a playful personality. An absolute sweetheart, Candy will thrive on your love and attention!
Candy is happiest playing with her toys (especially the treat ball), playing at the park, or smelling everything that crosses her path. An active companion, Candy will need lots of exercise as she has tons of energy. A backyard with room to run and play is highly recommended. When it’s time to rest, Candy loves to snuggle and is happiest on your lap or buried in a blanket (or both). She is even-tempered and would do well living with another young dog.
Candy needs some work on a leash, as she tends to pull and is easily distracted by all the smells. She is extremely food motivated which will help in her training. She does well in a crate and even sleeps throughout the night.
Candy will thrive in a home with a family that’s willing to give her all the love, attention, and exercise she needs. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Candy is patiently waiting!
