Meet Bayne! Bayne is an adorable 2.5 years old FMD/shepherd mix. He is around 35lbs full grown. Bayne is very sweet tempered and gentle. He is good with both people and other dogs. Bayne loves to be petted! He will literally push push his way through to get his share of attention. He doesn’t engage in too much play with other dogs, his goal whenever he goes to the dog park is to visit all the people.
Bayne was rescued as a stray. In his time living on the streets, he had been attacked by other dogs. When he was first rescued, he had multiple injuries on his body and eyes. He has since fully recovered and received a clean bill of health! Because of his previous experiences with other dogs, he is a bit wary around dogs and food. He doesn’t eat his food when his furry foster brother is nearby. Because of this, he will be best in a home with no other dogs. If he’s in a home with another dog, he will need to be fed somewhere where he is alone.
Bayne is housebroken and good in his crate. He does need more work on leash training, but with more time and consistency he will learn fast! He likes to check up on each member of the family and is a very loving dog. Bayne loves hot weather and prefers the porch where he can lay in the sun.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Bayne is patiently waiting!
