Meet Mango! Mango is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix! She’s a really affectionate pup, loves to snuggle and asks for head and belly rubs. Mango can be timid in new situations and definitely doesn’t like to be surprised. She will yelp if someone sneaks up on her from behind. Because of this we would recommend a home with slightly older kids who will understand her shy personality.

Mango is decent on leash, she likes to stop to sniff everything. But she doesn’t pull much on leash. She recently discovered that she likes fetching balls in her foster home! Mango has been eating, sleeping and playing well, with a lot more confidence than she had when she first arrived. She had a few accidents in the house early on, but in the past day or two, she’s been good. She is pretty much fully potty trained!

Mango would be best in a home with a dog who is not on the dominant side. She and her foster family’s dog, TJ, had an adjustment period in the beginning and is now getting along fine. She’s really attached to TJ, and he adores her. They travel around the house together and she won’t sleep at night if he’s not in the room with her. They do their nighttime zoomies together in the yard, and there have been no issues with sharing or toys.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Mango is patiently waiting!
