Meet Rudy! Rudy is an adorable 2.5 year old FMD/Shiba Inu mix. Rudy is a total love bug! He is so content just to be by your side, quietly observing or resting. He is a cautious guy, but does not seem fearful of other dogs, humans, or even loud noises. It took him a couple of days to get used to a leash and harness, but now he gets excited when he sees the harness come out- he knows it’s walk time! On walks, Rudy enjoys stopping to sniff and check out his surroundings. Once he knows he’s safe, he happily walks right alongside you. He potties outside no problem, and although Rudy will go in his crate without complaint, he does just fine without it. When left alone with our resident dog and a peanut butter-stuffed Kong, he is perfectly content to eat his treat and curl up for a nap. Rudy is a real special guy! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Rudy is patiently waiting!
