Meet Annie! Annie is an adorable 7-8months old FMD mix. Annie was rescued with her litter mates, there were a total of 6 puppies in the litter. They were left on the side of an abandoned field at only 1 month old in the cold winter season. When rescuers found them, they were huddled together shivering. On the way to the hospital, the rescuers tried to warm them up with blankets and heater. They were brought into emergency room and barely survived. These pups were seriously emaciated and because of this are smaller than other pups their age.

Annie is a very sweet girl, but is very shy when meeting new people. Because they were under-socialized and had a rough past, it takes a little time for them to open up. Once they feel safe, their affectionate and playful personalities shine. She loves to follow her rescuer around the house. Because she was a stray, she has resource guarding with food and other dogs. Without food, she is very playful and loves to run around outside. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Annie is patiently waiting!
