UPDATE: We’re very happy to share that Daisy has found her forever home!

Brief Bio: Meet Daisy! Daisy was rescued when a rescuer spotted her looking for food in a trash dump. She was a very young dog but severely emaciated that every ribs could be seen. The rescuer was so impressed with her sweet personality she couldn’t leave her on the streets. The rescuer gave her two servings of canned food and dry food, all of which she finished immediately. Poor girl, she was starving for days! As the rescuer did not see her pups she followed her and found that she hid her pups in a water pipe. The rescuer called for help and was successfully able to take all nine pups out of the pipe. Unfortunately one pup did not survive while the rest were in good health and all were adopted by August.
While at the vet Daisy was diagnosed with heartworm and was immediately put under medical treatment. Daisy has since completely recovered and currently stays with the rescuer for basic training. Daisy is a very mellow dog who really shows the retriever characteristics. She is very friendly to people and kids. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. We are looking for a home that will continue to show Daisy what it means to be in a loving home. Daisy is patiently waiting!
