UPDATE: We are so happy to share that Rhys has found his loving forever home! Thanks to his amazing rescuer Melissa Bernetsky who rescued him when she found him as a stray. We’re so happy this hunky handsome boy now has a home to call his own!

Brief bio: Meet Rhys! Rhys was found as a stray and was never redeemed by his owners when he was at the shelter. Rhys was in danger of euthanasia but was thankfully saved by the person who found him. Rhys is the sweetest boy. He loves to be around people and gets so excited to see his rescuers. His tail never stops moving and if you pick him up, he becomes like a floppy little rag-doll. He’s a very agile dog so he might enjoy agility training in the future. Rhys loves toys too! He’s always ready for a game of fetch or a bit of tug-of-war. Sometimes he even bats the ball around like a cat and hops after it. When he catches it, he makes these little oinking noises and looks so pleased with himself. Once he calms down, he’s a quiet dog who likes to watch the world go by. He’d love a home that will work with him on his manners and socialization as well as give him the attention and exercise he needs. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning a pittie and will continue to work with sweet Rhys. Rhys is patiently waiting!
