“Hi Melody – Attached are some photos of Penny (formerly Raina) in her new home and out and about in San Francisco. She’s an awesome pup with a ton of personality. We love taking her with us wherever we go, and she’s always happy to come along. She’s made a ton of new friends since arriving to San Francisco — humans, dogs, and even a cat (at least she considers him a friend…we’re just not sure the feeling is mutual). Penny’s favorite things to do are playing tag with other dogs, getting pieces of hot dog for easy commands, fetching her toys, and sleeping in the sun. Thanks so much to you and your wonderful Love and Second Chances friends and partners for bringing her into our lives!”

Brief Bio: Meet Raina! When a rescuer was putting food in hopes of luring a stray female to get fixed in a remote area, she saw a little pup wandering in the distance. When she called out, the little pup ran to the rescuer with her tail wagging and licking the rescuer non-stop. Poor Raina was ridden with fleas and her coat was filthy. Raina was taken to the vet and after a nice bath and some time at the vet, she was given a clean bill of health. Raina is a very smart girl and is a quick learner. She is curious, fun and loving. Raina gets along with dogs of all size and sleeps next to the cat every night. Raina is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
