Meet Yui! Yui is a sweet puppy who is learning more about the world every day. He can be a little timid around new people and unfamiliar environments, so will need some extra time and patience to feel comfortable. Once he begins to trust you, his affectionate personality will come shining through. Yui loves being close to his people and will happily become your little shadow, following you around and giving you the very best kisses! Yui is incredibly smart and very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He is crate and house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and loves treats puzzles.
Yui would love to have a home with a backyard because he loves running around and learning about the world with his nose. Yui currently lives with a senior dog and has shown just how adaptable and thoughtful he can be. He has even learned to slow down his walking pace to match his older foster sibling. Having a confident dog by his side also helps Yui feel more secure as he experiences new people, places, and situations. What Yui needs most is a patient and loving family who will give him the time he needs to build confidence at his own pace.
Yui is still young and has so much potential. With continued socialization, positive experiences, and another dog to help show him the way, Yui will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion.
